What to Know about Hearing Loss

Russell Misheloff is the president of the Executive Board for the Hearing Loss Assn. of America-DC Branch. He has a history of hearing problems goin back to childhood. Since the onset of adult hearing loss, he was treated with hearing aids and cochlear implant. After the surgery, he had auditory rehabilitation at Gallaudet University. He has been extremely active in presenting information about hearing loss. Misheloff has been involved in strategic planning with the International Resources Group for 14years after spending 31 years as a consultant to the US Agency for International Development, where he worked on targeting economic and social development.
Mr. Lon Rosenman has degrees in Mathematics and engineering. He suffered an ear infection in 1981 and developed a hearing loss for which he has been treated. He follows technical advances and presents technical advice through HLAA-DC.
