On December 30th more than 70 Villagers attend the second annual Pot Luck Dinner to celebrate the New Year and to acknowledge all Village volunteers.
The Village program committee pulled out all the stops with elegant decorations, excellent food, volunteer staff serving hors d’oeuvres, music, and joyous greetings for the New Year.
Executive Director, Bob McDonald, honored all volunteers for their hard work over the past year. Bob gave the Volunteer of the Year award to George Arnstein who helped Villagers with service calls more than any other member of the Village. Yea George!!! Attendees were also treated to testimonials from Janet Farbstein who used Village Services during a recent prolonged illness and Annmarie Emmett who loves being a volunteer.
All agreed that the party and the warm comments from fellow members set the tone for 2015—a year of great promise and opportunity for FBWE Village members and volunteers alike.
