Beethoven and the Stirring of the Romanticism

Published on 3/3/2015
Beethoven LectureOne and a half hours at one of Saul Lilienstein's lectures on music and composers flies by with attendees not wanting it to end - and it was thus at the February 28th lecture on Beethoven and the Stirring of the Romanticism Spirit.  Not only did we get to know more about Beethoven as a composer but also as a person struggling with the knowledge that he was going deaf.  And it is doubtful that anyone in attendance will ever again listen to his "Eroica" in the same way as he/she did in the past.

It was a wonderful learning experience while all along we were being entertained by someone who not only knows his subject matter in great depth but also obviously loves it.  FBWE Villagers are very fortunate to be the recipients of gratis tickets for an event of  this caliber.
