FBWEV Learns How to View the Masters

On October 21st FBWE Villagers were treated to a private tour of the National Gallery of Art by Dr. Eric Denker.
Because the National Gallery of Art is in FBWEV’s backyard, Villagers often visit the museum and tour its many exhibits. However, now they can look at the Gallery’s collection in a different way. Dr. Denker gave an in depth tutorial on how to view a painting, how to appreciate all the subtle artistic designations that are attributed to the Masters but not always apparent to the untrained eye, and how to look anew at art in general.
